Editorial Policy

How we research, write, update and correct every guide on VapeDecoded.

Our goal is simple: give adult vapers clear, correct and honest answers. This page explains how we work.

How we write fix guides

  • We start with the symptom you see, such as no vapor, a blinking light or a burnt taste.
  • We list fixes from the easiest and safest to the more involved.
  • We tell you clearly when a device is not safe to keep using or is not worth fixing.
  • We keep the language simple and avoid jargon.

Our sources

We use official brand manuals and product pages, hands on use of devices where possible, and trusted public sources such as the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) for health and legal topics. We link to sources when they help you check the facts.

How we review devices

We look at flavor, vapor, draw, battery life, build quality, ease of use and value for money. Reviews reflect our honest experience. Sponsors cannot change a score or a verdict.

Use of tools

We may use software tools to help with research and first drafts. Every guide is checked and edited by a person before it is published.

Updates

Vape models change often. We review popular guides regularly and update them when brands release new versions or new information comes out. The “Updated” date on each article shows the last time it was checked.

Corrections

If you find a mistake, please tell us through our Contact Us page. We will check it and correct the article quickly if we got something wrong.

Independence

VapeDecoded is not owned by any vape brand. Sponsored content is always labeled and kept separate from our editorial guides. Read our Advertising Disclosure for full details.

What we do not do

  • We do not write content aimed at people under 21.
  • We do not encourage non smokers or non vapers to start.
  • We do not make health claims about vaping.
  • We do not give instructions for unsafe battery or device modifications.
